Security Bank Foundation, Inc. (SBFI) has opened the 2026 cycle of its Internal Scholarship Program, a benefit built for Security Bank Group employees and their children. The program funds studies from Junior High School through post-graduate levels, pairing financial aid with real career development. Benefits
- Tuition and miscellaneous fees covered up to Php 65,000 per year for Junior High School to Senior High School scholars
- Tuition and miscellaneous fees covered up to Php 85,000 per year for College and Master’s Degree scholars

Qualifications
The program is open to Security Bank employees who meet a clear set of standards. You’ll need at least two years of tenure counted from permanency status, along with a good employment record and a performance appraisal rating of at least average. The scholarship is available to employees ranked up to Senior Assistant Vice President (SAVP).
Applicants must also carry a minimum GWA of 83%. Two more rules keep the program fair: no other family member within the second degree of consanguinity may currently hold the scholarship, and applicants cannot have any other existing scholarship apart from school-provided discounts.
Procedure How to Apply
Start by confirming you meet the eligibility criteria, then gather every required document before you begin. Complete the online application form carefully and submit it, with all attachments, before the deadline. Keep in mind that only online submissions are screened by SBFI’s Scholarship Officer. Admitted applicants are notified through phone calls and email, so make sure your contact details stay active. Once accepted, new scholars sign a scholarship contract to confirm their slot.

Applicants who are accepted into the scholarship program must submit the following documents to complete the admission process:
- Registration Form for A.Y. 2025–2026 — College scholars must include the subjects enrolled for the semester
- School Calendar for A.Y. 2025–2026
- Assessment of Fees, if applicable
- Copy of Security Bank Internal Account Number (IAN)
- School Grading System, if the school does not use percentage (%) as its grading system
- Course or Program Curriculum — required for College and Master’s Degree scholars
- Official Receipts for Tuition Fee Payments for A.Y. 2024–2025, if applicable
- Medical Certificate from an accredited physician confirming the employee-scholar’s fitness to work and study, if applicable
Requirements for Scholarship Renewal
Scholarship renewal schedules vary depending on the scholar’s education level. Elementary and Junior High School scholars renew their scholarship annually, while Senior High School, College, and Post-Graduate scholars renew every school term, such as a semester or trimester.
For renewal, scholars must submit:
- Online Renewal Form
- Acknowledgement Receipt for tuition and stipend received during the previous school year or term, to be provided by the SBFI Scholarship Officer
- Registration Form for A.Y. 2024–2025 — College scholars must include the subjects enrolled for the semester
- Report Card or Copy of Grades showing the General Weighted Average (GWA) for the previous school term or academic year
- Updated School Grading System, if applicable
- Assessment of Fees, if applicable
- Official Receipts for expenses paid by the Foundation on behalf of the scholar
- Reconsideration Letter, if the scholar does not meet the required grade in a particular subject
