A.    Scholarship Program

  1. Entrance Scholarship Program

The entrance scholarship program is a scholarship that is being offered to the incoming freshmen college student that is enrolled in the said university wherein applicants must be academically outstanding and have higher achievements in their Senior High School years. The number of available slots will all depend on the allocated budget of the scholarship program and the number of scholarship aspirants who are interested to apply in the said scholarship program.

B. Resident Scholarship

  • President’s Lister

President’s Lister and Dean’s Lister are almost the same scholarship grant but the two have different basic requirements. Aside from the fact that both resident scholarship grants are given to those exemplary academic achievers every semester that also serves as their recognition reward because of their academic performance. However, the only difference between the two is that president’s lister is intended for a student that is regular in standing has a general weighted average of 1.00 to 1.50, and has no grades lower than 2.50 in any subjects both minor or major.

  • Dean’s Lister

As mentioned in the definition of the President’s Lister above, dean’s lister and president’s lister have almost the same purpose and that is to support deserving academic achievers that are qualified to be a grantee of the said scholarship program but to be a qualified applicant, student aspirers must be an enrolled regular students that have a general weighted average of 1.501 to 1.75 and have no grade lower than 2.50 in any subject. In short, they must have no failing grades.

C. Government Scholarship Grant

  1. Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES)

TES or otherwise known as Tertiary Education Subsidy is a government-funded scholarship that aims to help economically disadvantaged students at the tertiary education level in financial support for educational finances and other school fees. This is a government-run scholarship program under the Republic Act No. 10687 or also known as UniFAST or The Unified Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education Act.

  • Tulong Dunong Program Tertiary Education Subsidy (TDP-TES)

Another government program intended for tertiary education students is the Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES). This is a tertiary student financial assistance given to the student beneficiaries that are qualified enough to be a Tulong Dunong grantee. TDP-TES is quite different from TES because TDP-TES is formerly a CHED-TDP in which grantees receive 7, 500 pesos every semester while TES receives 20, 000 pesos per semester.

  • Tertiary Education Subsidy-Expanded Student’s Grants-in-Aid Program for Poverty Alleviation (TES-ESGPPA)

TES-ESGPPA also known as Tertiary Education Subsidy-Expanded Student’s Grants-in-Aid Program for Poverty Alleviation is one of the scholarship programs under UNIFAST wherein qualified beneficiaries are those poor college students who don’t have enough economic resources to sustain their education needs yet deserving to acquire a higher level of educational status. This scholarship program is intended for poor students that belong to the list of 4p’s or Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program of DSWD.

D. Private Scholarship Grant

Private Scholarship Grant is the various scholarship program of private organizations that wants to support and help students in the said university by providing scholarship grant. The Scholarship and Financial Assistance Services (SFAS) of the said university are in charge of facilitating the scholarship given by the private grantors by providing the Memorandum of Agreement on both sides, the grantees and the grantors.
