Iskolar ng Bayan Scholarship for SY 2026-2027

College students in San Rafael, Bulacan now have a fresh chance to fund their studies. The Office of Mayor Cipriano D. Violago, Jr. has opened applications for the Iskolar ng Bayan Scholarship Program covering the First Semester of School Year 2026-2027. Both new applicants and existing scholars are being called to file their papers.

The program is a local financial assistance initiative built for deserving students who call San Rafael home. If you are working hard to stay in school and need a little support, this opportunity is worth your attention.

Qualifications

To be considered, you must meet all of the following:

  • Be a bona fide resident of San Rafael, Bulacan
  • Be a college student enrolled at any college or university
  • Have no failing grades or dropped subjects
  • Carry a general average of 85% or higher (2.25 or better)
  • Only one family member may hold the scholarship at a time
  • Children of solo parents must attach a photocopy of the latest Solo Parent ID (valid for one year)

Old scholars are reminded to reapply alongside new applicants.

Document Requirements

For Incoming Freshmen:

  • Photocopy of Certificate of Registration (COR), 1st Sem, SY 2026-2027
  • Certified True Copy of Report Card showing an average of 85% or above
  • Original Barangay Certificate of Indigency
  • Request letter addressed to Mayor Cipriano D. Violago, Jr.
  • Photocopy of School ID or government-issued ID with 3 specimen signatures

For 2nd Year and Above:

  • Photocopy of COR, 1st Sem, SY 2026-2027
  • Photocopy of COR, 2nd Sem, SY 2025-2026
  • Certified True Copy of Certificate of Grades, 2nd Sem, SY 2025-2026 (uncertified copies will be rejected)
  • Original Barangay Certificate of Indigency
  • Request letter addressed to the Mayor
  • Photocopy of School ID or government-issued ID with 3 specimen signatures

How to Apply

  1. Download the official application form.
  2. Fill it out on your device — it must be typewritten.
  3. Print the completed form on long bond paper.
  4. Submit all requirements to the GSO, Ground Floor, Municipal Hall, San Rafael Government Center, Brgy. Sampaloc.

Incomplete submissions will not be accepted. Details on qualifying examinations will be posted on the official Facebook page.

Applications run from July 6 to August 5, 2026. File early to avoid the last-minute rush. August 5, 2026 is the final day to submit your application — no extensions have been announced, so don’t wait until the last minute. If you or someone you know qualifies, now is the time to act.
