Qualifications
The following is the list of qualification requirements that aspiring applicants must meet to be eligible for the said scholarship grant.
- Must be a Top 1 or Top 2 Senior High School graduate of the batch; and
- Must pass the UST Entrance Test (USTET for Freshmen).
- Must pass the Qualifying Examination for Scholarship to be administered by the Office for Admissions (OFAD).
(Please proceed to OFAD, located on the ground floor of the TYK Student Center, for the processing of the Qualifying Examination Application).
Requirements
Here is the list of requirements including the required documents that interested applicants need to submit to the Office of Student Affairs:
- Santo Tomas Scholarship Application Form (form may be secured from the Office for Student Affairs);
- 1 copy of 2”X2” colored ID Picture;
- Photocopy/Print-out of the UST Entrance Test (USTET) result for College Freshmen;
- Photocopy of the UST Registration Form (if already enrolled);
- Photocopy of Confirmation of Enrolment Slip;
- Photocopy of the Senior High School Report Card;
- Original Certification from the school that the student graduated as the Top 1 or Top 2 of the batch (The school’s dry seal should be affixed to the document); and
- Photocopy of the Certificate of Good Moral Character.
Take Note: The applicant should submit the accomplished and signed application form together with the complete requirements at least 3 working days before the Scheduled Day of Enrolment at the Office for Student Affairs, located on the 2nd floor of the UST Tan Yan Kee Student Center. (The student will also write an essay, and fill out the Scholarship Encoding and Agreement Forms).
How to Process UST College Level Scholarship
To the students who wish to apply and avail of a University of the Santo Tomas Scholarship Program at the College Level, the following are the step-by-step guide and processes that the applicants need to know.
Step 1: Interested applicants of the said university can navigate the UST-OSA Online Services Application portal using this link https://osa.ust.edu.ph.The UST – OSA Online Services which includes the UST Scholarship Application page is the available online system for the submission and uploading of scholarship documents to the university.
Step 2: Please ensure that all original documents are complete, scanned according to the required format, clear and readable, and kept well for future submission.
Step 3: On a new display window, type in the address bar the URL of the UST Office for Student Affairs (OSA) website.
Step 4: On the OSA website click the Online Services and choose in the pulldown menu the OSA Services for Student and Staff to reach the Login Page. In the Login box, enter your login credentials and click Login.
Step 5: After logging in successfully, the page will proceed to the UST-OSA Online Services Scholarship.

- Apply for New Scholarship. This is where the process of submission starts.
- View Scholarship. Click this page to view and track the status of your application. You may click the eye symbol to check its status.
- For OSA Review. This indicates that the documents you have submitted are due for review and evaluation. Additionally, while on this status, you may check for remarks for any instructions for compliance, and uploading of additional requirements is still acceptable;
- Conditional Scholarship. This only means that the documents you have submitted are complete and in order, but are pending for encoding or tagging of discount in the application system;
