Qualifications
This scholarship is open exclusively to Education students of Cebu Technological University (CTU) who are enrolled for Academic Year 2026–2027. Eligible applicants must be enrolled in any of the following degree programs:
- Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED)
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education
- Bachelor of Special Needs Education
- Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) — with majors in English, Filipino, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, or Values Education
- Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education (BTLE) — with majors in Home Economics, Industrial Arts, or Information and Communication Technology
- Bachelor of Technical-Vocational Teacher Education (BTVTEd) — with majors in Automotive Technology, Civil and Construction Technology, Drafting Technology, Electrical Technology, Electronics Technology, Garments/Fashion and Design Technology, Food and Service Management Technology, or Welding and Fabrication Technology
In addition to being enrolled in one of these programs, applicants must be a Filipino citizen, must not be receiving any other scholarship, and must have a family gross income that falls within the program’s financial eligibility threshold. Good moral character and a strong academic background from high school are also expected.
Procedure How to Apply
- Confirm that you meet all eligibility requirements before proceeding.
- Prepare your required documents — your Grade 12 report card, a personal essay on “My Autobiography,” the completed GG Application Form, and the signed Gabay Guro Scholarship Consent Language form.
- Rename each file using this format: Last Name, First Name before uploading.
- Open the official Google Form application provided by CTU.
- Fill in all required fields accurately — this includes your ID number, campus, full name, degree program, year level, sex, birthdate, address, contact number, email address, and Facebook account name.
- Enter your total parents’ gross income when prompted.
- Upload the required files in their designated fields within the form.
- Review your entries before submitting to make sure everything is complete and correct.
- Hit submit and wait for official communication from the Gabay Guro program or your campus Scholarship Office regarding next steps.
