Benefits
Qualified scholars may receive one or more of the following, depending on the partner school:
- Monthly stipend of around ₱5,000 (up to ₱25,000 per semester) for daily and school expenses
- Book allowance of roughly ₱5,000 per semester
- Full or partial tuition fee coverage
- Board and lodging at select partner institutions, such as Dualtech Training Center
Document Requirements
Prepare these documents before applying, and make sure everything is complete and up to date:
- Authenticated final grades or Transcript of Records
- Certificate of Registration (COR) or tuition assessment
- Certificate of Good Moral Character
- Medical Certificate of Good Health
- Parents’ latest Income Tax Return (ITR) or Barangay Certificate of Indigency
- Recent 2×2 ID photo
Qualifications
To be considered, applicants must be incoming first-year students or qualified second- or fourth-year college students, depending on available slots. You’ll need a General Weighted Average of at least 80% (or 2.5), with no failing, incomplete, or dropped grades. You must also be a resident of an official NGCP host community, where transmission lines, substations, or related facilities are located. Household income should not exceed ₱300,000 per year, and you must not be receiving another scholarship grant.
Priority Courses
The NGCP Scholarship Program primarily gives priority to students taking Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) because of its relevance to the power transmission industry.

- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering
- Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering

Partner Schools
NGCP works with selected state universities, colleges, and technical institutions located near areas covered by its transmission grid in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

How to Apply
