The Davao City Water District (DCWD) is now accepting applications for its College Scholarship program for school year 2026–2027. The scholarship is open to students enrolled at the University of Southeastern Philippines (USEP), specifically at the Mintal and Obrero campuses.
Two tracks are available: one for Indigenous Peoples (IPs) and another for non-IP applicants. A total of six slots are up for grabs, and the application deadline is on May 29, 2026.

Document Requirements
For IP applicants:
- Notice of Admission to the Program (NOAP) from USEP
- Senior High School Report Card, or report of grades for continuing college students
- Tribal Certification
- Barangay Clearance
- Barangay Endorsement
- Certificate of Confirmation (COC) from NCIP or NCMF
- Certified true copy of the household ITR (not exceeding PhP 120,000), or a BIR certification with a notarized Affidavit of Low/No Income
- PSA copy of the Birth Certificate
- One recent 2×2 photo, preferably in IP attire
For non-IP applicants:
- Notice of Admission to the Program (NOAP) from USEP
- Senior High School Report Card
- Certification confirming top 20% ranking, signed by the school head
- Certified true copy of the household ITR (not exceeding PhP 120,000), or a BIR certification with a notarized Affidavit of Low/No Income
- PSA copy of the Birth Certificate
- One recent 2×2 photo
- Barangay Clearance
- Barangay Endorsement
Qualifications
The IP track is open to members of an Indigenous Cultural Community or Muslim residents living in the watershed areas of Toril, Tugbok, Baguio, Calinan, or Marilog. Applicants need at least an 80% average and must be enrolled at USEP’s Mintal or Obrero campus.
The non-IP track requires an 80% average, a spot in the top 20% of the graduating class, Davao City residency, and enrollment at USEP Mintal or Obrero.
Slots are limited: 5 for IP applicants and 1 for non-IP applicants.
How to Apply
Step 1: Apply for Admission to USeP
Begin by applying to the University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) and completing the university’s admission requirements.
Step 2: Check Your Scholarship Eligibility
Determine whether you qualify for the DCWD College Scholarship for Indigenous Peoples (IPs) or the DCWD College Scholarship for Non-Indigenous Peoples (Non-IPs). Make sure you satisfy the requirements for your chosen category.
Step 3: Go to the DCWD Office
Eligible applicants should visit the DCWD Community Relations Division Office at the 6th floor of the DCWD Matina Office.
Step 4: Complete the Application Form
Get and accomplish the official DCWD College Scholarship application form at the designated office.
Step 5: Submit Your Documents
Gather the required supporting documents for your scholarship category and submit your complete application to the designated DCWD office.
